Overview Often known as the “Cheese Auger”, the Dormer Gouge Auger (GA) is designed to take undisturbed samples from soft wet soils. Its tapered design allows the user to insert the gouge into the soil profile, twist to cut the core and withdraw a plug of soil. Its stainless steel design allows for quick and easy decontamination.

• 50mm diameters with various shanks (1m, 1.5 or 2m shanks) tapering to 2.8mm.
• 60mm diameter model available on 1.8m shank tapering to 2.8mm.
• 73mm diameter model available on 1.8m shank tapering to 2.8mm.
